Amazing work from around the net, this is not my work (unfortunately).
Â
I spend a lot of time looking around trying to find inspiration/ideas/thoughts, of things i can do myself and how i could implement them for my clients. Whilst doing so, i find some truly outstanding work, and thought i would start to make a list of it here.
Canon released a competition to produce a User Generated Movie using Canon DSLR cameras. The first video will end in a random way, it is then given to the community, so they start another video where the last one left off, ending in another random place for the next video to start.
Â
Many people submit a video entry, showing how they feel the video should continue, it is then upto a panel of judges to work out which one is the best.
My Fiance and I, are getting married in Greece during August 2010 in her home city of Lavrio, we planned to go to start preparing at the beginning of April a few weeks ago, but the day the we were supposed to leave, the volcano blow up and we lost our flights. We then re-booked for the end of April and flow but as we landed in Manchester, they cancelled all other flights in and out, so nearly missed the flights twice.
Â
I have just found this video that a videographer called Sean Stiegemeier has produced to try and show in a nice creative way the volcano erupting.
A FULL-CG animated piece that tries to illustrate architecture art across a photographic point of view where main subjects are already-built spaces. Sometimes in an abstract way. Sometimes surreal.
Â
There is no real photography in this, it is purely computer generated/animated
An amazing collection of images with liquid milk being used as clothing. The photographer is Andrey Razumovsky from Tula close to Moscow in Russia, you can see more of his work here http://www.razooma.net/projects/milk/

This is a stunning advert made by Ken Arlidge to test the Canon 5D Mk2. He produced a short movie/advert showing Coca Cola bottles, to show its full potential to produce some quite outstanding results.
A huge projector paints a new scene outside of a building, making it appear to come to life. The effect is very simple, project a movie that fits perfectly with the building, so it looks like it is the building itself, BRILLIANT!!!
Alma, is a huge award winning animation written and directed by Rodrigo Blaas, without doubt rivaling Disney, Pixar, Aardman and any other animation studies you care to think of.
We have all seen "Jump London" and the many spin off videos that have come from it, even Madonna has used this art called "Parkour", but I personally haven't seen a video this well made before.
I just found some marvelous pictures… they belong to Christophe Gilbert, a very talented Belgian photographer from Brussels, specialised in visual art. Truly impressive…Enjoy!!!
You will notice that I have a real liking for the Canon 5D Mark2, and so keep watching to see what is possible and has been done using it. This is a music video I found recently produced using the Canon 5D Mk2 featured on the amazing www.cinema5d.com forum/Video Blog dedicated to the Canon DSLR Cameras.
Amazing short 5 min movie that I found whilst looking for something else. From the way i have read it, it is a very low budget, probably done for free by the cast and crew.
