I was asked by the MPA (Master Photography Association) to give a small demonstration of the rig. So I took along 11 cameras and we had a bit of a play. These are the results :)
Just before Christmas 2009, we had a small exhibition using 36 cameras.
Â
It was Jo Howell's day to be honest, she organised most things including people and what they should be doing, an amazingly tallented photographer and artist,
We dragged the public into the set kicking and screaming, who all had great fun with light painting, jumping about and just seeing how the system worked.
Â
Half way through the afternoon, a group of children jumped and one fell into the rig, so you can see the right hand side of it is a little messed up... but it was a fun day, not a commercial shoot, so we didn't really care being honest.

The animated GIF image is 8mbs in size, so may take a little time if your not on broadband. We have made the GIF, as you don't need any plugins to see the movies.
We were asked to produce a bullet time shot of Rafael Nadal using our rig in mid air as he was swiping a tennis ball for a Santander (Banesto)Â Advert. We worked 3 x 21hr shifts to make this possible after driving for 2 x 15hr days to get to Spain.
Below are some images that we took whilst setting up.
On the 3rd of October 2008, i was asked by Nexus Productions to help them produce a Time Slice / Bullet Time exhibition in the main foyer of The Tate Britain London.
With a joint effort between myself, Nexus Productions, Chris Breeze and The Tate, we produced a system which produced an effect that represents the Francis Bacon painting, "Study after Velázquez's Portrait of Pope Innocent X" (as below) in Bullet Time Photography.
Â
Quick Time Virtual Reality Movies of the final pictures we took
"The Ghost" This was a girl leaning forward at the same time as waving her arms about. This produced the ghostly effect.
"The Cross" This girl was standing on the thrown, waving her arms around. probably my favourite movie of the day.
"The Team" Starting at the top left is me (Ian Wright), then it is Chris Breeze next to me at the back. Across the middle from the left is Fletch and Luke of Nexus Productions and Ben is on the right from New World Designs. At the bottom is Jim from Nexus.Â
"A Ball Of Light" A torch was used here and span around to create a ball effect. To me it looks something like something from the TV show Heroes!!!
"Sweeping Arms" This lady is just moving her arms around, i love the way this picks out how every camera sees the same type of blur.
Iqons fashion, the worlds largest fashion community chaired by Suran Goonatilake OBE (who received his OBE for conceiving this community, commissioned myself and enamul.co.uk (a close friend of mine)Â to produce an award winning interactive video, that allowed you to move the models clothing around in an immersing manner.
