Hosting is where your website is kept. We don't keep your website on our computers, and you don't keep it on yours, if we did it that way, every time we turned our computers off, or had a power failure etc, the website would go off.

Whats a domain name?
Well its just the correct name for a website address. for example our domain name is http://www.newworlddesigns.co.uk/. This is what we will register for you, and what people will type into the web browser to find you. We have to try and make it both easy to remember but also close enough to represent your business.

All of our websites are placed onto web servers of the highest standard commercially available in the world at this time, and are co-Located in London UK. We spent a lot of money acquiring these servers, knowing that they will be the back bone of our entire business. We then positioned them into one of the worlds top datacentres. They provide the ability to control and look after our servers on a 24 hours a day 365 days a year basis. They also have round the clock power back-up in case of power failure, and 24 hour security to safeguard the servers from corruption and to protect information held on them from theft.

To enable us to use such a fantastic set up we had to purchase much more space than we needed, so we try to recoup some of the costs back via resale of the server space. We can set up either reseller accounts or standard accounts from our own server, or we could also set up dedicated servers for you that are 100% managed and looked after by the data centre. Our rates are extremely competitive as this is not our primary income source, and as such we are not trying to make large amounts of money from this, if any. If we can cover the cost of our own servers, why do we need to be greedy and make anything more?
