Last week on Wednesday i was asked by Nexus productions, the producers of the Honda animated adverts, to come down to London and setup a full working bullet time rig in the main foyer of The Tait Britain.
This was to represent the Francis Bacon painting, "Study after Velázquez's Portrait of Pope Innocent X"
At the moment i dont have the finished results, but i do have a time lapse movie i made of the event on You Tube.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLEsCRspc8o&fmt=18 (High def You Tube video)
Here are also a few fun stills that are from the time lapse movie that you cant see as the movie flies to fast.
This is the full crew taking a a bullet time photo, (from inside the barriers) there is myself at the back in dark blue, Chris Breeze back right, then the production crew of Nexus productions and Ben Oliver closest to the camera
This is Fletch from Nexus, looking pretty damn cool (whilst we do all the work in the back clearing up!!)
The best bit about this photo, is the time lapse camera i used (a Canon 5D), only fired every 30 seconds, so they were jumping about in this photo for about 29 seconds waiting for it to fire
