3D Gaussian Splatting

A frozen moment, rebuilt as a photoreal 3D scene you can move through. 3D Gaussian Splatting turns one instant captured by our camera arrays into a navigable scene, with the camera path chosen after the shoot.

The technique

One instant, every angle, fully 3D

Every camera in the array captures the same instant. Those images are reconstructed into a highly detailed 3D scene, and from there we render full resolution movies along any camera path, or hand over the scene itself. Because the whole scene is 3D, elements can be repositioned, relit and merged: for Foot Locker we merged four captures from two locations into one spatially correct scene.

If the subject needs to keep moving through the capture, that is 4D Gaussian Splatting. If your pipeline needs meshes rather than splats, that is photogrammetry, and the same rigs on the same set do both.

Deliverables

What you get back

Finished shots as full resolution 2D movies rendered from the scene, or the splat files themselves for teams working in 3D. Tell us where the output is going and we deliver to fit.
