Elvis Communications approached us, asking for help with a social media campaign for Budweiser. It was to create GIFs that would be shared on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and others. It was to show their sponsorship with the official beer for the #EmiratesFACup.
What we were trying to achieve?
The guys at Elvis Communications had spent quite some time and effort making this with 4 cameras, trying to get them to sync and align, and in fairness, they did a great job!
So they asked us to recreate this but with 12 cameras… and create about 100 shots in a day.
The filming was done in a live pub, we had from when they first opened, until 5pm when they opened to the public serving food. In that time we had to unload all the equipment, move all the bar furniture, set the lighting up, move the rig 5 times and realign the lighting, take all the shots, de-rig, remove all the equipment from the bar and be gone by 5pm!
