Canterbury Clothing's new range shot in manufactured weather: 96 cameras, a blacked out studio corner, and smoke and wind machines doing winter on demand.

What Did We Do?

Laced Creative asked us to produce a 96 camera rig and capture Canterbury Clothing’s new range in atmospheric weather. We booked Foundry Film Studios in Manchester, blacked out a corner with drapes to control the light, then used smoke and wind machines to make fog, drift and airborne particles. Winter, made to order.

The rig ran 96 cameras with 10 computers and 8 custom wiring looms, with our software giving a fully aligned preview within 20 seconds of each trigger.

We produced about 120 movies, which ran across the campaign online, on social media and on television.
