A 48 camera, 360 degree booth at Junk Kouture in Dublin's 3Arena: booked until 7pm, still shooting at half past midnight, over 400 movies sent out on the night.

What Did We Do?

Junk Kouture is a fashion show by and for school students, who build incredible outfits from recycled materials. Rogue Productions asked us to capture the visitors and the winning finalists in our 360 degree bullet time booth at the 3Arena in Dublin.

We drove over from Sunderland, set up the 48 camera, 5.5 metre diameter rig in about three hours the day before, and walked in on show day ready to work. The booking ran to 7pm, but we offered to keep shooting through the interval and after the show, and finally stopped at 12.30am. Over 400 aligned, branded movies went straight out to visitors’ emails through our software. The same two staff set up, operated and de-rigged everything, and we were on the road by 2am.

Notes from Dublin: amazing chicken wings, terrifying bar prices.

Common Event FAQs

How many staff does the booth need?

Two. The same two people set up, operated and de-rigged this entire job.

Do you travel outside the UK?

Yes. We drove this rig from Sunderland to Dublin, and we have taken rigs much further.
