Gaussian, Photogrammetry and Volumetric
We provide high-end 3D and 4D capture for brands, agencies and productions that want full creative control in post.
From commercial campaigns to heritage installations, our system delivers broadcast-quality results without the need for a volumetric stage.
4D Gaussian Splatting
Moving Model – The Extra D In 4D From 3D, Is Time
Pros
- Production-quality camera moves from any angle
- Works really with semi and full transparent surfaces
- Works great with reflective surfaces
- Export 2D flights from any viewpoint
- Pause action and look around
- Natural lighting from the shoot
- Broadcast-ready visual quality
- Rapid industry adoption
Considerations
- 3D software integration still evolving
- Limited advanced relighting
- New and developing workflows
Description
4D Gaussian Splatting is a way of capturing a real performance as a 3D, time-based asset that you can move a virtual camera around in post. Instead of being locked to the angles shot on the day, you can choose framing, lensing and camera movement later, which reduces risk and gives more flexibility in the edit.
The capture holds fine detail such as hair and clothing movement, and it plays back efficiently enough to review quickly and integrate into VFX or virtual environments. For a production, the benefit is simple: you capture the performance once, then gain additional camera options, extended creative control in post, and a reusable digital asset without needing a full CG build.
3D Gaussian Splatting
Static 3D Model
Pros
- High-detail 3D capture of people, objects or spaces
- Works extremely well for moving subjects
- Works really with semi and full transparent surfaces
- Works great with reflective surfaces
- Export 2D still or path view from any angles
- Fast, flexible capture
- Reusable across multiple projects
Considerations
- Limited advanced relighting
- Integration varies by pipeline
- Newer workflows in some studios
Description
3D Gaussian Splatting is a way of capturing a real person, object or location as a high-quality 3D asset from a multi-camera or multi-image shoot. It creates a detailed, true-to-life digital version that can be viewed from any angle and placed into new environments without rebuilding it in CG.
For production, this means you can scan talent, props or sets quickly and generate a usable 3D asset that is ready for VFX, virtual production, marketing content or interactive use. The result is a fast turnaround from capture to delivery, reduced modelling costs, and a realistic asset that can be reused across multiple outputs.
Volumetric
A Moving Traditional Mesh Model
Pros
- True moving 3D performance capture
- View from any angle
- Can be relit in post
- Proven production workflow
- Suitable for VFX and immersive use
Considerations
- Higher data and processing demands
- May require refinement for close-up realism
- May need retopologising to be used in computer games
- Struggles with semi and full transparent surfaces
- Struggles with reflective surfaces
Description
Traditional 4D volumetric capture records a live performance using a synchronised multi-camera array to produce a moving 3D mesh/model over time. The result is a realistic, fully animated digital version of the actor that can be viewed from any angle, integrated into virtual environments and relit to match new scenes or creative direction.
For production, this provides significant flexibility beyond standard video, allowing camera positions, lighting and environment to be refined in post while preserving natural movement and expression. It is a proven, production-ready approach that delivers dependable, high-quality digital performances for VFX, immersive content and virtual production workflows.
3D Photogrammetry
Static Traditional 3D Mesh
Pros
- High-quality human capture
- Works well for moving subjects
- Clean for traditional VFX pipelines
- Can be relit to match new scenes
- Reliable, repeatable results on-set or on location
Considerations
- Post involves processing and clean-up time
- Wardrobe and hair can affect the final solve
- May need to be retopologised
- Struggles with semi and full transparent surfaces
- Struggles with reflective surfaces
Description
3D photogrammetry is a technique that uses a series of high-resolution photographs to reconstruct a detailed, true-to-scale 3D model of a person, object or environment. The result is a highly accurate digital asset with natural texture and surface detail, suitable for VFX, virtual production, product visualisation or archival work.
For production, this means you can capture real-world subjects quickly and convert them into usable 3D models without manual modelling, creating assets that can be placed into new scenes, reused across multiple projects and adapted for different outputs with consistency and realism.
