To scan people or moving objects, you must use a camera rig, as you need to catch from all angles at the same time with no movement.

Did we add anything extra to the scene?
Yes, we actually threw the football in the air and photographed it in the approximate position after the actors had left. So the football you see, isn’t the one that she kicked. It meant in 3D we could move around the ball and put it in the perfect position for the shot.
